I run the OS Giken close ratio kit as it is stronger than stock. On the track have not had many problems. I bought it second hand and had to fix a few bits and got a few years of hard running (560rwhp)before snapping 2nd gear this year. We reviewed the video and think it arose due to flexing when changing down gears and hitting a bump on the track. Found that OS Giken sell a billet sandwich plate which reduces the flex and improves reliability in high HP applications. Now it required a couple of tweaks to work with the 300ZX and I have only had it in a short while. But makes sense and seems to running fine. http://www.otomoto.com.au/p/8745823/nissan-billet-sandwich-plate-for-skyline-gt-r-and-300zx.html Hope this helps. Cheers Mike
